Teaching keeps me engaged. Maybe even young. 🙂  I am trying something new that has actually been out for a while: Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, originally published in 1979, and reprinted several times. (I actually have several copies.)

I wasn’t able to find an existing curriculum laid out as a high school lesson plan (at least in the format preferred by my school, with learning goals and success criteria) so I’m going back to the text, by Betty Edwards, and following her advice, while creating a handout with step-by-step instructions. I also have her Workbook; both books are a big help. I will come back and edit this post with before and after pictures once we complete the unit.
