Many students feel that the art room is a respite from the rigorous academics of the rest of the day. They find it relaxing, fun and even invigorating. I’ve had students wait through several spares to come to art. Of course, this isn’t universal. Some students feel intimidated by the freedom to experiment and create. However many discover that they have ability in at least one medium or method and go on to produce wonderful, original work!

I try to invite students who have spares so join us, because I believe that art is a wonderful way to express yourself,. It can also be a wonderful way to decompress after a full day. So if you are a student who has a spare, come join us! I have some art supplies that you can use.
